The show

Most people think detox means a green juice or a weekend cleanse. It doesn't.

Toxicity can live in your body, your home, your relationships, and your mind. Most of us are walking around carrying a toxic load we never chose. It's time to wake up and remove the toxins.

Every episode, Jesse Henry sits down with a leader, a doctor, a scientist, a healer, or a builder who lived through their own toxic wake-up call. What did they find? What did they cut? What did they change?

Society has sacrificed human and planetary health for profit. It's time to take control of our destiny so we can live a healthy and sustainable life.

Transforming Health: A Journey from Corporate Life to Holistic Healing

With Meghan Swidler , Functional Health and Detox Practitioner

Meghan Swidler had the Cornell degree, the startup life, and a VC job offer that looked like the dream on paper. Underneath it: cystic acne, gut issues, and a hormonal mess doctors kept waving off. She quit the VC job the day after she started it. This one is about root cause, not symptom management.

Spending at least 120 minutes a week in nature is associated with good health and wellbeing

In a large English survey, nature contact was associated with self-reported good health and wellbeing.

What we cover

The toxins you can touch,
and the ones you can't.

One kind of toxin you can hold in your hand.
The other kind of toxin can run your life without you knowing it.
The show helps you identify the physical and non-physical toxins.

Tangible

The chemistry of the physical world you move through every day.

Food

Most of what gets sold as food is a carrier for things that were never meant to be eaten. The label tells you, if you read the whole thing.

Water

Your tap water has a list. That is not a moral failing. It is an exposure, and exposures can be handled.

Clothing

Skin is not a wall. It takes in what your clothes were finished with, all day, against your body.

Personal care

A dozen products before coffee, and nobody reads them. That is the whole problem, and it is a fixable one.

Home goods

Your home has a chemistry. The pan, the couch, the candle, the spray under the sink. Right now someone else picked it.

The outside world

Air, light, sound, soil. The commons got contaminated while nobody was watching, and it lands in your bloodwork.

Intangible

The inputs that never touch your body and still shape the outputs.

Thoughts

Everything you can see started as a thought. A polluted one builds polluted things.

Emotions

A feeling you will not process does not leave. It moves in and starts paying rent in your nervous system.

Relationships

You attract who you are, not what you want. Some of the people around you are weight, and weight has a cost.

Communication

How you talk to yourself sets the terms for how everyone else gets to talk to you.

Sleep

The work gets done in recovery. Skip it and you run a deficit you cannot see until it is big.

Noise

The job is not to build intuition. It is to clear out the noise that has been drowning the one you already have.

Why it connects

Thoughts become words.
Words become things.

Our show focuses on helping you find sustainable thoughts, words, and things in your everyday life. This is the supply chain of how our thoughts turn into the physical world around us.

Thoughts NO TOX Things Words
The range

Six places a toxin hides.
We cover all of them.

Lifestyle

Your home, your products, your routines. Change the inputs and the body gets a fair shot.

Nutrition

Food is not a moral scorecard. It is a daily decision about what gets to become your cells.

Fitness

Chase capacity, not the mirror. Movement is the pharmacy you already own, and recovery is where the work gets done.

Mindset

What you think becomes your reality. Notice the pattern, change the frame, and give yourself a cleaner place to stand.

Communication

How you speak to yourself and to a room shapes every relationship you carry into the world.

Business

How you operate when nobody is watching becomes the culture you build, and then the legacy you leave.
